Ensuring Timely Availability of FYM in Required Quantity for Sustainable Organic Farming
Natural FYM bio-digestion in a farmer's backyard takes 8-12 months. The prolonged digestive process of raw dung through bacterial activity generates heat leading to decomposition and a significant amount of carbon mass is transformed into carbon dioxide resulting in the loss of soil organic matter. This is required in higher quantities per acre (4-8 MT/Acre), limiting the availability for bio-farming in a larger area. To make the FYM more effective, the next-generation technology of Zytonic Godhan uses a mechanism of fungal bio-digestion to enable large amounts of biomass conversion to humus and humic compounds with accelerated, complete bio-digestion. As stable forms of organic carbon, these humates increase the soil's CEC (Cation Exchange Capacity), which improves nutrient uptake.
