Himachal Govt. Recovers 1.7 Crores from Ineligible PM Kisan Beneficiaries
The Mandi administration in Himachal Pradesh is recovering the money which was transferred to ineligible beneficiaries under PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. So far 1.7 crores from ineligible farmers have been recovered while 1.76 crores are still pending.

Amazon To Opens ‘Farmer Collection Centre’
Amazon Retail India has recently announced the opening of a new "farmer collection centre" in Maharashtra. This Platform will provide an opportunity for the customers to buy fresh fruits and vegetables directly from farmers. This new Kunjirwadi centre will be the fifth centre in Maharashtra after Manchar, Nasik, Wai, and Ratnagiri.

Garuda Aerospace Receives First AIF Sanctioned Agri Drone Loan
Agri Infra Fund which has been supported by the central government for the first time has sanctioned an agri drone loan of Rs 9.37 lakhs for Chennai based aerospace firm Garuda Aerospace’s agri drone, garuda aerospace has already pre-booked around 2,500 drones and now it’s all setto tomanufacture one lakh kisan drones by 2024.

Bicycle Man of India Visits KJ Chaupal
Bicycle man of India Neeraj Prajapati who is on the mission to spread awareness about organic farming amongst farmers across the nation has so far completed 44,817 kms and aims to cover 1,11,111 kms soon. Prajapati visited Krishi Jagran’s office on Aug 3 to be part of the Independence Day celebration. While sharing his views, he said it would be nice if we could promote the newcomers in the farming sector as they are the ones who need real encouragement. I am happy to see that Krishi Jagran is doing all this for the last many years.” MC Dominic, the founder of Krishi Jagran & Agriculture World welcomed him and presented him with a souvenir, a green planter, from Krishi Jagran.

Centre Increases Sugarcane FRP by Rs 15/quintal to Rs 305 per quintal
Keeping in mind the interests of sugarcane farmers, Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi has increased the minimum prices that mills have to pay to sugarcane farmers by Rs 15 to Rs 305/quintal for the 2022-23 marketing year starting October.
