     This is surely a good news that we all Indians have been waiting to hear. The Indian economy has now become the fifth largest in the world, surpassed UK. Yes, you’ve heard it right! According to Bloomberg reports, India past the UK in the final three months of 2021 to become the fifth-biggest economy. Many have tweeted their reaction to this news. Mahindra Group chairman Anand Mahindra, known for his tweets, applauded India and shared this news has made many proud. In a tweet, and I read, he wrote, “The law of Karma works. News that would have filled the hearts of every Indian that fought hard & sacrificed much for freedom. And a silent but strong reply to those who thought India would descend into chaos. A time for silent reflection, gratitude." Looks like good times have eventually arrived for the Indian economy!

    Good News for LPG Customers! Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) cylinders weighing 19 kg are now Rs 91.50 cheaper. The new pricing will be in effect starting on September 1. Commercial LPG cylinders are retailed in Delhi for Rs 1,885, down from Rs 1,976.Hotels, restaurants, and other commercial facilities that buy 19-kg commercial LPG cylinders will benefit from the price reduction.

  • RBI To Digitize Kisan Credit Cards In Rural Areas

    To make life easier for those who are accessing banking and credit facilities in rural areas, the RBI has taken an initiative for digitisation of rural finance, beginning with Kisan credit cards. This project along with Union Bank and Federal Bank aims to make it more efficient and cut costs and the turnaround time significantly. On this the RBI said.   • UPL Appoints Mike Frank As CEO Of UPL Corporation

    UPL Corporation, the flagship company of UPL Ltd for global operations, announced that its Board of Directors has appointed Mike Frank as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of UPL's Global Crop Protection (CP) business that manages all CP assets outside of India. Also Mike will be a member of the UPL Crop Protection Board of Directors.
