  • Parshotam Rupala Visits Mini Aquarium Centre Under PMMSY at Tanmarg, Jammu & Kashmir

    Parshottam Rupala, Union Minister of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry, and Dairy, Government of India, paid a visit to Jammu and Kashmir. On the second day of his visit, he went to the Mini Aquarium Centre at Tanmarg with the goal of operationalizing the Aquarium Cum Awareness Centre and interacting with the fish farming community.

    On February 25, the Department of Agriculture officially opened the 'VAIGA 2023' agricultural expo, which aims to show farmers and the general public the newest agricultural practices. At the conclusion of VAIGA 2023, organized by the Kerala Government Agriculture Department, VAIGA media awards were given out in Thiruvananthapuram, wherein agri media house Krishi Jagran received the 'Best Online Media for Reporting' award.

     

  • PM Kisan Samman Nidhi: How to Change / Update Name as Per Aadhaar Details?

    The Central government provides Rs. 6000 yearly to eligible farmers under Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. The 13th installment of PM Kisan Scheme worth Rs 16800 was released by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Belagavi Karnataka on February 27. Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana has benefited crores of farmers by providing financial assistance of Rs. 6000 per year. The money is transferred to eligible farmers in three equal instalments of Rs 2000 each.
