  The Directorate of Higher and Technical Education, Government of Puducherry, has officially announced a holiday for all colleges in the Puducherry, Karaikal, and Yanam regions on December 4, 2023, due to the impending cyclone 'Michaung.' This decision has been made to ensure the safety and well-being of students and staff in light of the potential impact of the cyclone.

  In a resounding celebration of Ayurveda's global prominence, Union Minister of Ayush and Ports, Shipping & Waterways, Sarbananda Sonowal, extolled the virtues of the ancient healing system at the inauguration of the National Arogya Fair. The Global Ayurveda Festival, which is being held in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, from December 1 to 5, is expected to enthrall audiences.
