  • Haryana Govt Appoints New Municipal Commissioner for Gurugram, Months Before Elections

    The Haryana government has appointed Phool Chand Meena as the new commissioner of the Municipal Corporation of Gurugram (MCG) as well as the special duty officer for the Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA). Mukesh Kumar Ahuja, who was appointed in June 2021 for the post, will be replaced by Meena, who served as managing director of the state power company DHBVN.

     

  • Kisan Vikas Patra: Government Revises KVP Interest Rate, Get Guaranteed Returns & Many Other Benefits

    Kisan Vikas Patra (KVP) Interest Rate 2023: The government on December 30 revised the interest rate on Kisan Vikas Patra account deposits. The current rate of interest on KVP is 7.2 percent compounded yearly. This revised rate would apply to all Kisan Vikas Patra deposits made in the first quarter of FY2023.
