  • Mahindra’s Farm Equipment Sector Sells 21684 Units

    Mahindra & Mahindra, announced its tractor sales numbers which is 21684 units for last month .After noticing the growth of Farm equipment sector Hemant Sikka said we have sold 21684 tractors in the domestic market during last month. After seeing the good sale we have achieved a volume growth of 18%.

  • UPL Reaches 29% Growth In First Quarter

    UPL registered a 29 per cent growth in their first quarter on better high rate product volumes and favourable exchange rate.Now Company expect to be up by 12-15% H1 growth in Indian business. Also UPL launched Herbicide at Brazilian Congress of Weed Science & presents its new herbicide called the Lifeline Sync herbicide. This new product will provide the effect of desiccation and also the residual at the beginning of the establishment of the crop, and will ensuring less weed competition in this very important period.″

  • Government to Provide Electricity Subsidy to Aqua Farmers

    Andhra Pradesh government is making all necessary preparations to start providing qualified farmers with electricity subsidies from September. A survey conducted to identify the aqua farmers who cultivate less than 10 acres in the Aqua zone will also come to an end this month. Departments of Electricity, Revenue, and Fisheries later collaborated on a survey to determine which farmers are truly cultivating within the aqua zone.

  • FSSAI Launches Drive Against Sale Of Adulterated Edible Oil

    Food safety regulator, FSSAI has launched an awareness drive against the sale of adulterated edible oil, FSSAI has decided to ban adulterated mineral oil, argemone oil, castor oil and trans fatty acid oil , In the first phase FSSAI will send 126 samples of edible oil to oil testing laboratory and if the if the presence of adulterants is confirmed in vegetable oil refineries, oil blending units and other production units involved in the production of edible oils then FSSAI will take a strict action
