IMD has predicted a cyclonic circulation over Assam, a Western Disturbance in the Himalayas, and fluctuating temperatures across India, all set to impact weather conditions in the coming days. 1. Cyclonic Circulation Over Northeast Assam
A cyclonic circulation is currently observed over northeast Assam and its surrounding areas in the lower tropospheric levels. As a result:

Scattered light to moderate rainfall, along with thunderstorms and lightning, is expected in Arunachal Pradesh and northeast Assam on 10th, and 11th February 2025.
2. Western Disturbance Impacting the Western Himalayan Region
A Western Disturbance has been identified as a trough in the lower tropospheric level, with its axis located at 3.1 km above mean sea level along 55°E longitude to the north of 30°N latitude. This system is likely to cause:

Isolated to scattered light rainfall and snowfall in the Western Himalayan Region from 8th to 12th February 2025.
